1. Scope

This policy applies to the public Artifact & Wonder website, communications sent to our support address, and internal tools we use to manage marketplace listings, orders, fulfillment, returns, disputes, payouts, and related business records.

2. Information we handle

Depending on how you interact with us, we may handle:

• Support information: your email address, message content, and information you choose to provide when contacting us.
• Marketplace and transaction information: identifiers, listing and order details, buyer or seller information needed for a transaction, shipping and delivery information, returns, cancellations, disputes, fees, refunds, and payout records made available by eBay.
• Technical information: standard web-server records such as an IP address, browser type, requested page, and request time that may be processed by our hosting and security providers.

We do not ask for, collect, or store an eBay user’s password. OAuth credentials and access tokens used by our internal integration are restricted to authorized business use.

3. How we use information

We use information only as reasonably necessary to:

• respond to support and privacy requests;
• manage listings and inventory;
• process and fulfill orders;
• handle shipping, returns, cancellations, and disputes;
• reconcile fees, refunds, transactions, and payouts;
• maintain business, audit, tax, fraud-prevention, and security records; and
• comply with applicable law and marketplace requirements.

We do not use marketplace personal information for unrelated advertising, and we do not use it to train artificial intelligence or machine-learning models.

4. How we share information

We do not sell or rent personal information. We may share limited information with eBay, shipping and transaction service providers, website or email hosts, professional advisers, or other vendors when necessary to provide services and operate the business. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights or safety, or in connection with a business reorganization.

Service providers receive only the information reasonably needed for their work and are expected to protect it appropriately.

5. eBay information

When an authorized eBay account grants access to our application, we use information made available through eBay only for the permitted business and marketplace purposes described above. We limit access to people who need it for their role, safeguard application credentials, and do not disclose eBay information for an unrelated purpose.

Our processing of eBay information is intended to remain consistent with eBay’s Privacy Notice and the eBay Developers Program requirements.

6. Retention and deletion

We retain personal information only while it is needed for the purpose for which it was collected, to meet legal, accounting, security, or dispute-resolution obligations, or as otherwise permitted by applicable requirements.

Personal information received through eBay is deleted at the earliest applicable point: when required by our retention practices; when requested by eBay or the person concerned; when it is no longer necessary for its specific legitimate purpose; or when our participation in the eBay Developers Program ends. Information that must be retained by law may be restricted and kept only for the required period.

7. Security

We use administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or loss. Access to internal systems is restricted, credentials and tokens are protected, and business data is backed up. No system can guarantee absolute security.

8. Your choices and privacy requests

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to ask about, access, correct, or delete personal information, or object to or restrict certain processing. To make a request, email us using the address below. We may need to verify your identity and may retain information when legally permitted or required.

This website does not intentionally use advertising cookies or behavioral advertising. Essential hosting and security technologies may process standard request information.

9. Children’s privacy

Our services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through this website.

We may update this policy when our practices or requirements change. The effective date at the top of this page identifies the current version.
